Help Center Bank Reconciliation: Troubleshooting Guide Deleting Uploaded Bank Statements

In some cases, you may need to delete uploaded statements to correct errors or remove outdated data. There are two methods available for deletion:

Deleting in Bulk

Problem: You're trying to delete a group of  bulk-uploaded statements.

Effect: All associated bank statements and the transactions posted from them will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone, so proceed with caution.

Deleting Statements Individually

Problem: You're deleting bank statements one by one

Effect: Tyms will prompt you to choose between two deletion options:

        Partial Delete:

  • Removes only the uploaded bank statement.
  • Keeps the related transaction in your books.

         Full Delete:

  • Deletes both the bank statement and the transaction it posted.
  • Use this if the transaction itself was incorrect or posted in error.
