Saving a transaction as a draft on Tyms keeps it out of your financial reports and allows for further edits, while publishing it links the transaction to your books and immediately reflects in your financial reports.
Issue encountered.
When trying to publish sales inventory items, some users notice that after saving them as Published, the items automatically revert to Draft.
Why This Happens
This typically occurs when sales items are published from the most recent date backward (e.g., starting from July 3, 2025, down to June 29, 2025).
If the sales are inventory-linked, publishing them in reverse order creates a conflict. The system expects inventory to be recorded in chronological order, so saving future-dated transactions before earlier ones causes the recent ones to bounce back to Draft. This helps maintain accurate stock movement records.
How to Fix It
To avoid this issue, always publish inventory sales in order of date , from earliest to latest. Example: If you have 10 draft sales between June 29, 2025 – July 3, 2025,
Start publishing from June 29 and continue upward to July 3.
